ASTM A333 Grade 3 Pipe from Tricon Steel & Alloys stands out as India's largest manufacturer, supplier, and exporter of high-quality carbon steel piping solutions. This A333 Grade 3 Low-Temperature Pipe is renowned for its exceptional corrosion resistance and robust performance at high temperatures. Ideal for industries like chemicals, petrochemicals, and pharmaceuticals, it ensures reliability and durability in critical applications. Trust our ASTM A333 Grade 3 Carbon Steel Pipe for unmatched quality and performance.
The ASTM A333 Grade 3 Pipe is a refractory carbon steel pipe designed for use in low-temperature and high-pressure environments. It is particularly suitable for applications in the oil, gas, petrochemical, and power generation sectors, where it may be exposed to temperatures as low as -150°F (-101°C). This pipe's extreme impact strength at cryogenic temperatures makes it ideal for cryogenic applications.
Table Of Content
Our A333 Grade 3 Seamless Pipe is produced using seamless methods to ensure uniformity and strength, especially in high-pressure scenarios. The pipe is widely used in pipelines, piping systems, and equipment for transporting water or air at low temperatures, such as in cryogenic storage tanks and LNG facilities. It maintains product integrity even in cold storage environments.
The ASTM A333 Grade 3 Pipe composition includes carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon, and nickel, carefully controlled to deliver desirable mechanical properties and resist brittle fracture. The low-carbon content enhances weldability and reduces the risk of cracking during burial.
Each Low-Temperature ASTM A333 Grade 3 Pipe stringent testing to ensure that the strictest specifications are met for quality and performance. Tests include chemical analysis, tensile strength tests, low-temperature impact tests, hardness tests, ultrasonic inspections, hydrostatic tests, and other non-destructive methods to verify the pipe's chemical composition, mechanical properties, and brittleness resistance.

The Rolling and Welding Stage
To begin our process, we first need to go through the rolling and welding stage. The Carbon steel is placed through a checking process and cut at the edges in this stage.
Cleaning and Warming Stage
The rolled Carbon steel pipes thus manufactured are cut to the required lengths depending upon the industrial demand.
Cold-Drawing Stage
Sometimes, the required size isn’t obtained when the steel is brought through the mill directly. When using the cold-drawing process, the desired size is achieved when the pipes and tubing are coated with oxalic and soap solution and dragged over die plugs—the oxalic and soap solution help reduce friction when going through the cold cycle.
The Finishing Process
The final process is the finisher. Once the process of manufacturing ASTM A333 Grade 3 Pipe and tubing is completed, you’ll now have to take them to a jet printer.
