Tricon Steel & Alloys offers a versatile and durable solution for various industrial applications with its Stainless Steel 446 Pipe. This high-quality product is designed to meet the demanding requirements of industries such as chemical processing, petrochemical, and power generation. Let's delve into the key features and benefits of Stainless Steel 446 Pipe and why it stands out in the market.
Stainless Steel 446 is a ferritic, non-heat treatable stainless steel that exhibits excellent resistance to high-temperature corrosion and oxidation. This makes it an ideal material for applications where exposure to elevated temperatures is common. The alloy's high chromium content (23%) contributes to its outstanding corrosion resistance, while its molybdenum content enhances its strength and resistance to localized corrosion.
One of the notable features of Stainless Steel 446 Pipe is its ability to withstand scaling at temperatures up to 1100°C. This attribute makes it suitable for applications involving cyclic heating and cooling, such as in industrial furnaces and combustion chambers. The pipes also exhibit good weldability, allowing for easy fabrication and installation.
Tricon Steel & Alloys ensures that its Stainless Steel 446 Pipe adheres to international quality standards, providing customers with a reliable and durable solution. The pipes are available in various sizes and dimensions to meet the specific requirements of different industries. Whether it's for transporting corrosive fluids or handling high-temperature gases, Stainless Steel 446 Pipe offers the performance and longevity needed in challenging environments.
The resistance to corrosion, oxidation, and scaling makes Stainless Steel 446 Pipe a cost-effective and low-maintenance option for industries with demanding operational conditions. Additionally, the pipes have excellent creep strength, ensuring long-term reliability under constant stress and high temperatures.

The Rolling and Welding Stage
To begin our process, we first need to go through the rolling and welding stage. The stainless steel is placed through a checking process and cut at the edges in this stage.
Cleaning and Warming Stage
The rolled stainless steel pipes thus manufactured are cut to the required lengths depending upon the industrial demand.
Cold-Drawing Stage
Sometimes, the required size isn’t obtained when the steel is brought through the mill directly. When using the cold-drawing process, the desired size is achieved when the pipes and tubing are coated with oxalic and soap solution and dragged over die plugs—the oxalic and soap solution help reduce friction when going through the cold cycle.
The Finishing Process
The final process is the finisher. Once the process of manufacturing stainless steel pipes and tubing is completed, you’ll now have to take them to a jet printer.
