Tricon Steel & Alloys is an authorized supplier and manufacturer of Hastelloy Sheets, Plates, and Coils, known for their exceptional corrosion resistance in various environments. These products are manufactured with precision and expertise to meet quality standards. With Tricon Steel & Alloys, customers can trust reliable, high-performance Hastelloy products for their critical operations.
Hastelloy Sheets, Plates, and Coils typically consist of a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with additions of tungsten and cobalt. Their chemical composition includes approximately 55-65% nickel, 20-22% chromium, 12-22% molybdenum, 2-6% iron, and smaller amounts of cobalt, tungsten, manganese, silicon, carbon, sulfur, phosphorus, and other trace elements to achieve desired mechanical properties.
Hastelloy Sheets exhibit a density ranging from 8.2 to 9.2 g/cm³. These products typically possess a yield strength of 300-700 MPa and a tensile strength of 650-950 MPa. Thermal conductivity varies between 9.8 to 11.7 W/m·K. These properties ensure excellent performance in high-temperature and corrosive environments across diverse industrial applications.
Hastelloy Sheets, Plates, and Coils offer exceptional corrosion resistance, with variants like C-276 excelling in acidic environments. Hastelloy Plates are weldable, allowing for ease of fabrication and assembly. While machining can be challenging due to their toughness, they respond well to heat treatment for optimizing mechanical properties, ensuring reliability in demanding applications.
At Tricon Steel & Alloys, we ensure the high quality of our products by conducting extensive testing, including Hardness Tests, Chemical Analyses, and PMI Testing, before delivering them to our clients. Some of these tests are micro and Macro Tests, Flaring Tests, Pitting Resistance Tests, and IGC tests. Invoices, packing lists, and a legally recognized Certificate of Origin are among the paperwork we offer for 100% client satisfaction.
Hastelloy Sheets, Plates, and Coils are extensively used in chemical processing equipment such as reactors, distillation columns, and heat exchangers. They're also vital in aerospace components, marine engineering, and pollution control systems, ensuring durability and reliability in critical applications.

Reheating Furnace
A reheating furnace is a crucial component in the steel manufacturing process, particularly for hot rolling mills where sheets or slabs are heated prior to rolling.
Scale Breaker
A scale breaker, also known as a descaler, is a piece of equipment used in the steel manufacturing process to remove scale from the surface of hot-rolled steel products. Scale refers to the iron oxide layer that forms on the surface of steel when it is heated to high temperatures during the manufacturing process.
Finish Rolling
Finish rolling, also known as final rolling, is the last stage in the hot rolling process of steel or other metals. It involves reducing the thickness of the material to its final desired dimensions and achieving the required surface finish.
Skin Pass Mill
A skin pass mill, also known as a temper mill or a rolling mill, is a specialized type of rolling mill used in the steel or metal industry to improve the surface finish and mechanical properties of cold-rolled steel coils or sheets. It operates after the cold rolling process and before further processing or coating.
