Tricon Steel and Alloys is a prominent name in the industry, known for its expertise in manufacturing Titanium Grade 2 Bar. Titanium Grade 2, also called commercially pure titanium, is renowned for its exceptional corrosion resistance, high strength-to-weight ratio, and excellent weldability. Our Titanium Grade 2 Bars are meticulously crafted to meet stringent quality standards, ensuring durability and reliability in various applications.

Our Titanium Grade 2 Bars' key features include their outstanding corrosion resistance, particularly in acidic and chloride environments. This makes them ideal for use in industries such as chemical processing, marine, and aerospace, where exposure to harsh conditions is prevalent. Additionally, our bars exhibit impressive strength properties, allowing them to withstand heavy loads and high temperatures without compromising structural integrity.

One of the primary applications of our Titanium Grade 2 Bars is in the aerospace industry, where their lightweight yet robust nature is highly valued. These bars are utilized in aircraft components, such as airframes, engine parts, and landing gear, contributing to enhanced fuel efficiency and overall performance. Furthermore, their corrosion resistance makes them suitable for marine applications, including shipbuilding, offshore platforms, and seawater desalination plants.

In the medical field, Titanium Grade 2 Bars have extensive use in manufacturing orthopedic implants, surgical instruments, and medical devices. The biocompatibility of titanium ensures compatibility with the human body, minimizing the risk of adverse reactions and promoting faster healing. Moreover, its non-magnetic properties make it suitable for MRI machines and other medical equipment where magnetic interference must be avoided.

Titanium Grade 2 Bars

Beyond aerospace and medical applications, Titanium Grade 2 Bars also serve various other industries, including automotive, architecture, and sports equipment manufacturing. Their versatility and exceptional mechanical properties make them an ideal choice for a wide range of demanding applications.

At Tricon Steel and Alloys, we prioritize quality and precision in every production stage, from sourcing raw materials to final inspection. Titanium Grade 2 Bars Manufacturing Process

Melting

The first step in the process is melting raw materials in an electric furnace. These raw materials are typically iron ore, chromium, nickel, and other elements in exact amounts.

Hot Rolling

After being heated, the billets are shaped into long, thin rods by going through a series of rolling mills. Because the metal is heated above its recrystallization temperature during this operation, it is known as hot rolling.

Pickling

The pickling process is used to the bars in order to eliminate any oxide, scale, or other surface contaminants. Usually, an acid solution is used for this.

Cutting

Lastly, shearing machines or other cutting techniques are used to cut the rods to the required length.
