Tricon Steel & Alloys is a well-known supplier and exporter of high-quality Hastelloy C22 Bars. a top-tier solution engineered to excel in diverse industrial settings. Hastelloy C22 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy renowned for its exceptional versatility and corrosion resistance in various aggressive chemical environments. Its composition prevents oxidizing aqueous media, including wet chlorine and mixtures containing nitric acid or oxidizing acids with chloride ions. Hastelloy C22 bars exhibit outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. These properties make it highly sought after in chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, pollution control, pulp and paper production, and waste treatment.
The features of Hastelloy C22 bars extend beyond their corrosion resistance. It boasts excellent fabricability, enabling it to be readily welded, machined, and formed using conventional techniques. This attribute enhances its appeal in various manufacturing processes requiring precise shaping and assembly. Moreover, its ability to withstand high temperatures and maintain mechanical strength makes it suitable for demanding industry applications.
The Hastelloy C22 Bar boasts exceptional durability and durability, making it ideal for corrosion-resistant industrial surfaces and excellent quality for ease of assembly and upgrade, making it easier to sharp match requirements. Furthermore, its excellent weldability ensures seamless joining in complex structures and assemblies, enhancing its overall performance and reliability. Whether facing harsh chemical processes or extreme temperatures, Hastelloy C22 Bar is a robust solution for long-term performance and structural integrity.
Hastelloy C22 bars are rigorously tested and stretched to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Typical tests include non-destructive methods such as chemical composition analysis, mechanical property tests (such as tensile strength and hardness), corrosion resistance evaluation (including pitting and crack corrosion tests), and ultrasonic and radiographic analysis.

Melting
The first step in the process is melting raw materials in an electric furnace. These raw materials are typically iron ore, chromium, nickel, and other elements in exact amounts.
Hot Rolling
After being heated, the billets are shaped into long, thin rods by going through a series of rolling mills. Because the metal is heated above its recrystallization temperature during this operation, it is known as hot rolling.
Pickling
The pickling process is used to the bars in order to eliminate any oxide, scale, or other surface contaminants. Usually, an acid solution is used for this.
Cutting
Lastly, shearing machines or other cutting techniques are used to cut the rods to the required length.
